Amazing Vintage Wedding in Mt Macedon by Melbourne Wedding Photographer, Chris Garbacz
Coralie and Giuseppe’s Vintage Wedding would have to be one of the most amazing backyard weddings I have ever seen. It made me understand that you don’t need big expensive fancy venues to have a beautiful wedding, you just need close family and friends and lots of love!
I felt so lucky to be their Melbourne wedding photographer. I clearly remember taking photos as Coralie was getting ready when suddenly the skies opened up and the rain just started bucketing down! She started freaking out and hoped that her wedding would not be ruined. As it turns out, this became one of my favourite wedding photography shoots of all time!
Family and friends might have gotten a little wet running for the cover into the church, but that did not dampen the spirits, as their beautiful vintage wedding ceremony took place. The best part was that after the ceremony the couple was happy to brave the weather and hit the road for their location photo shoot.
Off to the Macedon Ranges National Park we went. The rain brought the park to life! The colours popped, the surfaces became reflective and the lighting was amazing! We enjoyed a super fun shoot with the help of a few guests who came along to hold the dress and help out. We even stopped at an abandoned vintage fuel pump on the way back to the house as mothers cooking was ready to be served.
The warm glow vintage wedding styling of the house was super inviting as we arrived. I quickly snuck the couple into the drawing room for one last quick snap before they the festivities got under way. Mum styled the backyard beautifully and her cooking was divine! The perfect small vintage wedding style Melbourne wedding photography shoot! I’ll never forget these guys 🙂
